Yep yep it got to be a quick journal about my preparation before leaving Indonesia. I am so jobless after left my internship at the end of July. And the whole August is half about Yogyakarta and half about preparation. I went to Yogyakarta to finish my final briefing from my lecturer, Pak Yoyok and settled my proposal in Dirmawa. I waited for almost 2 weeks in Yogykarta because I have to see my friends graduation. I am kinda envy because they are all my last project studio-mate. If I didnt take part in this program, I must be graduated with them all. But it's okay thou because yeah I postpone my graduation for a good sake.
In the end of August I prepare the Visa application. For a student who will go to Japan for study, the procedure is kind of quick n easy. As long you receive a CESR or COE (Certificate of Eligibility) which is sent from Japan directly, it only took some time moreover the queue is not that much. As I arrived in Japanese Immigration Bureau, we took the queuing number. All the direction and procedure are clearly written there. When you have your number called, you give them your Paspor, Application form (with a photo of 4,5 cm x 4,5 cm), CESR, and Photocopy of ID Card (visit http://www.id.emb-japan.go.jp/visa_4.html for further info). We will be given a fillable paper and we fill it with our information and phone number. That paper will be your receipt, and you can have your visa issued 4 days later by purchasing Rp 320.000,-. For applying visa you should come from 9 to 12, and from 13 to 15 to take your passport and visa back in 4 days later. I.e. you come for applying visa in Monday morning, your visa will be finished in Thursday afternoon. I am glad that it's very simple to do because even I've been so frustrated with my journey from home to the bureau that I spent 2 hours on the road and only took max 20 minutes there.
After that I only filled the days by going shopping for my needs especially for fighting through the different weather from here. But in the end I only shopped lot of shirts and lot of accessories hahahaha. I had a lot of talk from a lot of people who went there before who took the same program with me and they suggest me lot of things.
Besides, there are also farewell part with my friends. But I convinced them all that 6 months is really a short time. I'll see them all soon.
And today is my last night in my room in Indonesia. Tomorrow I will spend my night up in the air and after tomorrow I will be in my dorm in OTIS Dorm (Osaka-Univ Tsukomodai International Student Dormitory). Still struggling how to pack the baggage so it won't be overload. Still browsing maps and direction and haaaah I event don't know why I ended up writing this blog so I know my track record if I had to throwback my preparation moment. My messy English mixed with my zero-knowledge about Nihongo make me nervous. But one thing to remember I should be surrounded by positive mind from my self, start appreciating the moment, be grateful and don't complain , that's what Indrak told me lot of times.
We'll see each other again with my next post!
Thanks for stay tuned.
xx.
